The nickel-plated temperature sensor in the colour shiny silver from Bitspower is an easy way to keep an eye on the water temperature of a water cooling system. To do this, the sensor, which has a sealing ring, is screwed into a G1/4" thread, whereby an internal extension then measures the temperature of the surrounding water. With a 90cm long 2-pin cable, the sensor can be connected to a display or control unit or to a compatible motherboard. This allows, for example, the rotation speed of radiator fans to be automatically controlled depending on the water temperature. Just as the airplex modularity series, no welding is performed during production of the airplex radical series, preventing any welding residues inside the radiator. The coolant does not have contact to any other materials than seals, Delrin, copper and stainless steel.For an improved and easier installation process, the airplex radical series comes with threaded inserts made from nickel plated brass that protrude into the mounting holes of the fans. Therefore, fans are "automatically" correctly aligned to the threads - extremely convenient especially with large radiators! Additionally, this results in a deeper thread and the screw can be positioned farther away from the tubes and fins of the radiator, reducing the risk to damage the radiator by using too long screws. If the radiator is to be installed without fans, the inserts can also be installed upside-down resulting in a nearly flat surface, so there is no gap between radiator and PC case.Both sides of the radiator are equipped with slide rails for the threaded inserts and inserts for one side of the radiator are included in delivery. The aqualis ECO series reservoirs are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube which, unlike the acrylic glass commonly used for tube reservoirs, has very high hardness and scratch resistance, very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid of the aqualis series are made of Delrin, the lid and bottom are connected by a nickel-plated brass tube. A visual highlight is the integrated water column effect. If the return line is connected to the central connection of the aqualis, the water flows through the central brass tube to the cover and exits through eight openings, which is a real eye-catcher especially in connection with lighting. A thin acrylic sheet close to the bottom of the aqualis minimizes air entry into the circuit. Alternatively, the return can be connected to a side port, the water then flows back from the ground into the surge tank. The aqualis DDC 100 ml reservoir from aqua computer is designed for direct mounting to a Laing DDC pump not included in the delivery. For this purpose, the pump is attached only by means of a fastening ring and four screws in the base of the expansion tank. Separately available mounting rubbers can also be screwed into the base of the AGBs to allow mounting on the PC case.
