A total of 16 2mm wide copper tubes along the entire length of the radiator ensure optimal coolant flow and do not burden your cooling loop. High-quality finless copper fins with a density of 20 FPI offer the best balance between heat transfer and air resistance for optimal performance even at low speed fan operation. EK would not recommend a push/pull setup on an EK-Quantum S-Series surface radiator as it does not provide a proportional increase in performance. If more cooling power is needed, installing additional radiators is a good option. New and improved The EK-Quantum Surface S Series cooler maximizes performance by using a new cooler core. When comparing core-to-core performance, the Surface S cooler performs up to 20% better than its predecessor, the CoolStream SE, due to its improved fin structure and optimized core. EK-Quantum Surface Premium radiators are based on years of development and market research to deliver the best product in every respect that the market demands. The processing of the materials, the mechanical rigidity and the performance have been taken to a new level. Like all other products in the Quantum Line, EK's brand new surface coolers offer numerous performance improvements, including thermal performance, coolant flow restriction and airflow restriction. With the included screws, this cooler is compatible with 120mm fans, which have a thickness of 25mm as standard. EK recommends using EK fans or similar with sealed frames. This classic but effective square shape of the fan housing ensures optimal performance in pull (suction) or push (pressure) mode without hydraulic losses, ensuring the optimal cooling performance of your liquid coolers. Thick extruded aluminum end caps with a contrasting silver finish give the cooler a premium look and feel. They cover the interior and connect the stamped side panels, creating a sturdy structure that is comfortable to handle. The stainless steel side panels are coated with durable semi-gloss black paint, while the fins themselves feature a special black matte coating with a high thermal conductivity coefficient. M4 screws – standardized, easy to find Heavy-duty black M4 Philips round head screws are included for ease of use. In general usage scenarios, EK strongly recommends using only the included screws to avoid damage to the cooler itself. However, the M4 screw compatibility allows users to source longer screws if needed. The cooler core is designed in such a way that even if the customer accidentally uses longer screws, it will not affect the structural integrity of the cooler core as they will only collide with the fins. Easy disassembly – DIY modding dream The EK Quantum Surface range has been designed and engineered as a modular product range rather than individually sized radiators. Loop friendly – Don’t worry about your pump The internal structure of the coolers has been designed with low flow restriction so as not to place unnecessary strain on the rest of the cooling loop. This means that you can add multiple radiators to your cooling loop using just a single pump (D5 or DDC). The coolers are also airflow friendly and low restriction, allowing operation at lower fan speeds while maintaining the same performance. Low airflow restriction ensures that the case is well ventilated and other radiators in the case can breathe properly. The high flow 2 flow sensor from Aqua Computer can easily be integrated into the cooling circuit and enables continuous flow measurement. This flow sensor is also equipped with a temperature sensor for recording the coolant temperature. The flow rate is measured by a rotor / impeller that is driven by the coolant flowing through. The rotation speed is recorded without contact using a magnetic measuring system. The optimally calibrated bearing clearance for each sensor ensures minimal running noise. The sensor delivers reliable measured values from approx. 35 l / h to 1000 l / h and is therefore ideally suited for most water cooling systems. A symmetrical structure allows the sensor to be integrated into the system without considering the direction of flow. In addition, the sensor can be operated in any installation position. The very low flow resistance meets the requirements of high flow systems. The high flow 2 has significantly more compact dimensions than its predecessor. In addition to the flow sensor, the very precise and fast water temperature sensor is integrated in the elegant acetal housing. The stainless steel cover of the sensor is magnetically attached without screws. The connection threads are made in G1 / 4 and thus enable operation with a wide range of hose systems. The all-metal CPU water cooler not only impresses with its elegant appearance, but also features a new mounting system that simplifies installation.The best of new and oldAlphacool brings the best of both worlds together with the Core 1. In addition to the new 3D-Jetplate, Alphacool returns to its roots by using a proven cross-slot technique to distribute coolant evenly across the redesigned cooler base. Inside the cooler, O-rings ensure precise water flow for effective cooling. The Core 1's housing is machined from a high-quality brass block and features nickel-plated connectors. The cooler's copper base, also nickel-plated, has been enlarged to ensure full coverage of large CPUs. New Mounting SystemThe mounting system has also been revised. Compared to previous Alphacool models, it requires fewer screws. First, the pre-assembly of the backplate (Intel) is done with four spacers. After that, the thermal paste is applied to the CPU.
