Neutraalhallid filtrid on loodud selleks, et vähendada kaamerasse jõudva valguse kogust, samal ajal värve muutmata. Valguse koguse vähendamise tulemusel on võimalik kasutada suuremat ava, pikemat säriaega või mõlemat samaaegselt. See on vajalik subjekti rõhutamiseks teravussügavuse kontrolliga või liikumisefekti loomiseks. Samas ei mõjuta neutraalhallid filtrid värvustasakaalu. Lee ProGlass seeria neutraalhallid filtrid on valmistatud ülikvaliteetsest optilisest klaasist. Filtri pinnad on vääristatud ning tagavad ühtlase valguse neeldumise kogu nähtava valgusspektri, kuid ka infrapuna ning UV spektris. UV filter blokeerib ultraviolettkiirguse (200 - 400nm lainepikkus) ning sellega takistab UV valguse sensorile jõudmist. Ultravioletne valgus on küll silmale nähtamatu (nähtava valguse lainepikkus on 380 - 760 nm), kuid siiski võib see pildi kvaliteedile mõjuda, kuna fotoaparaatide sensorid on võimelised UV kiirgust kinni püüdma. Seda eriti situatsioonides, kus UV kiirguse hulk on suurem (puhta õhuga mägedes, kevadel rannikualadel, väiksema osoonikihiga aladel). Tulemuseks on sel juhul tugevam sinine toon ning väiksema teravusega kujutised. Kuna UV filter ei mõjuta kontrastsust ega värvitasakaalu, siis saab seda kombineerida koos teiste filtritega. UV filter sobib ka igapäevaseks objektiivi kaitsefiltriks. Objektiivi ees olev filter takistab mustusel ning niiskusel objektiivi esiklaasile jõudmist ning pakub ka lisakaitset, kui objektiiv peaks kukkuma või situatsioonides, kus on võimalik, et esiklaas saab kriimustada.
