Filmisimulatsioon Fuififilm'il on üle 80 aasta pikkune kogemus filmide väljaarendamisel ning tootmisel. See oskusteave on rakendatud ka modernsete digikaamerate juures, võimaldades kaameras kasutada filmisimulatsiooni. Niimoodi saad pilti tehes talletada täpselt nii, nagu kaameras oleks näiteks Provia (standard), Velvia (suurem värviküllasus), Astia (pehme) või mõni muu filmirull. Talleta iga subjekti teravalt Fujifilm X-T30 autofookuse süsteem on oluliselt parendatud. Kiire ning täpne faasituvastusega autofookus katab nüüd veel suurema kaadriala, mis omakorda on optimeeritud aladele, kus subjektid suurima tõenäosusega paiknevad. Kaamera kasutab varasemalt veel aktiivsemalt faasituvastuspunkte, tagades sellega kiirema ning täpsema jälgiva teravustamise. Silmatuvastus portreefotograafidele Vali näotuvatus ning kaamera hakkab aktiivselt kaadrist nägusid otsima, millele teravustada. Vali silmatuvastus ning kaamera automaatselt teravustab silma peale, tagades ideaalse teravustamise ka väikese teravussüsgavusega objektiivi kasutades. Fotograafil on ka vabadus valida parema, vasaku, eesmise või tagumise silma vahel. 4K videosalvestus Fujifilm X-T30 hübriidkaamera toetab kuni DCI 4K 4096 × 2160 30p/25p/24p videosalvestust kuni 200 Mbps andmetihedusega. Lisaks on valikus ka FullHD 1920 × 1080 120p kõrge kaadrisagedusega videod. Mõlema puhul on klipid moiré efekti ning muude artefaktide vabad.
