This combination focal reducer and field corrector lens accessory works with all Celestron 5”, 8”, 9 1/4”, 11” and 14” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. This clever accessory makes it possible to have a dual focal ratio instrument, without sacrificing image quality. The Reducer/Corrector is f/6.3 for C5, C8, C9¼ and C11 telescopes and f/7 for the C14 telescope. If offers wide fields of view with any Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Used for astrophotography, it reduces exposure time by a factor of 3. Celestron doesn’t offer a f/6.3 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, because the design is impractical, with a large central obstruction, and resulting loss in contrast. This, added to the inability to utilize longer focal ratios for certain objects, led Celestron to design the four-element, fully multicoated f/6.3 Reducer/Corrector. Results are amazing both visually and photographically.
DayStar’s Imaging Focal Reducer can give you more field of view in your images. 2” to T mount, with included T extension tube for even more reduction. With a T-mount camera connected directly to the reducer, the focal length is cut in half - 0.5X. Add the 20mm extension tube for 0.33X. Focal reducer specifications: Four elements in two groups. 36mm clear aperture. Front: Male 2” eyepiece drawtube. Rear: Male T thread (M42x0.75) Flange to flange distance: 5mm. Overall length: 38mm. Extension tube specifications: Front: Female T-thread (M42x0.75) Rear: Male T-thread (M42x0.75) Flange distance: 20mm Overall length: 25mm Knife edge baffles for superior contrast.
Focal Reducer, 0.5X, for Observing and Imaging:This focal reducer lowers the focal length of the main optics by half, providing a larger field of view. This is advantageous when using cameras with small chips for imaging. Use: Using the focal reducer is ingeniously simple. It has a 1.25" filter thread, which fits into any 1.25" eyepiece or 1.25" camera adapter without any problem. Imaging: The focal reducer increases the size of the image field and shortens the exposure times when imaging. It is particularly recommended for use with the Philips SPC 900NC Webcam, etc. Visual observing:The increase of the size of the field of view with 1.25" eyepieces is particular useful if you like observing more extended celestial objects with long focal length instruments. The smaller focal reducer/eyepiece distance means that the reduction factor is only 0.5X. However, the focus is only shifted inwards by 5mm. Technical Data:Connecting thread: Filter thread 1.25" (M 28.5 x 0.75) on both sides Free light transmission: Lens aperture 22.5mm Lenses: 2 lenses for better correction - cemented - coated Material: Aluminium - black anodized Reduction factor: approx. 0.5X - depending on distance Focal length: 85mm
TS Optics f/6.3 Reducer and Corrector for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes This high-quality corrector system was especially developed for SC telescopes. With this 4-element system, you can make a fast telescope for astrophotography out of your SCT. Features and applications of the corrector: The corrector fits to all Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes from Celestron and Meade. It is simply screwed to the 2" thread at the back of the telescope. At the eyepiece side, the f/6.3 corrector also has the SC thread. You can use your accessories as before. The optimal working distance from the SC thread of the corrector is 85 mm. You can exceed or under-run this distance by 15% without appreciable loss of quality. The focal length of the SC telescopes is reduced with the factor 0.63 - 2000 mm become 1260 mm focal length. The speed is considerably increased. You achieve the same saturation with only 40% exposure time, compared to the photography without corrector. The optical correcture system flattenes the curved field of the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, offering a fully corrected image area of 24 mm diameter. The corrector offers an improvement also visually, the sharpness at the edge is enhanced and the yield of true field of view is obvious. We recommend to use the corrector with 1.25" eyepieces. Adaption of the SC corrector to 2": Many amateur astronomers use a separate focuser at their SC telescope for more precise focusing and avoid mirror shifting.

Omegon 2X ED 2” Barlow lens - More aperture for your photography and observing Most large telescopes have a 2” focuser. You can use this to your advantage by using a 2“ Barlow lens and discovering all the additional advantages this can offer. The Omegon 2” Barlow lens provides a good image with high contrast. The use of ED glass means that visible colour aberrations are reduced to a minimum with the image appearing substantially sharper. In addition, all lens surfaces have been provided with a green multi-coating to reduce reflections. Larger diameter - more scope for your lenses The 2“diameter also allows you to insert your 2'” eyepieces into the Barlow, doubling their magnification. This saves the need to buy additional eyepieces. The large lens diameter also means you will notice no shadowing in the image. Astrophotography with the Barlow lens You can also use the Barlow lens for astrophotography. Especially for compact objects, sometimes more focal length is required in order for them to be seen at a reasonable size in the image. The big plus: There is also no shadowing apparent on small image format camera chips. Ergonomically designed Naturally, clear starry nights can be cold in summer. This often means there is no choice but to wrap up warmly. This Barlow lens has been designed with a high grip exterior to provide a good grip, meaning that it is easy to handle securely even with gloves on. Still more possibilities One does not always need the focal length to be doubled. It is also possible to use just one section of this Barlow lens in order to get a magnification factor of something like 1.5x. The lower Barlow element can simply be unscrewed and then screwed into any 2” eyepiece. This Barlow element is correctly threaded for this purpose. There is a 2“ filter thread provided on the lower part of the Barlow lens and on the reducer adapter for using your filters.
This is a high quality 3x Barlow lens that doubles the magnification of the eyepiece. It has many great features like, 3-element fully multi coated design, brass pressure ring to hold the eyepiece more securely without damaging barrel and rubber grip and hard black anodize finish with orange ring.It is ideal for short focal length telescope owners who want to see more of the sky.
A Barlow lens is the astronomy accessory that keeps on giving! Insert it between your eyepiece and your telescope to get double the magnification instantly. Let’s say you have two eyepieces in your accessory case, a 10 mm and a 25 mm. Add a Celestron Omni 2X Barlow Lens to the mix, and now you have four magnifications to choose from. Combining this lens with the 25 mm provides double the magnification, or the equivalent of a 12.5 mm eyepiece, while the 10 mm gives you the power of a 5 mm eyepiece. Eye relief is the distance your eye has to be from the first lens in the eyepiece in order to see the full field of view. When you use a Barlow lens with an eyepiece, you get double the magnification, but the eye relief is not affected. This is a good thing, because normally the shorter the focal length of the eyepiece, the less eye relief you have. In other words, a standard 10mm eyepiece, as a general rule, will have better eye relief than a 5mm eyepiece. Bonus! The Celestron Omni 2x Barlow comes in a sleek, silver package. The two-element optics are fully multi-coated, and the edges of the lenses are blackened to cut down on internal reflections. The 1.25” barrel will fit in standard 1.25” focusers and diagonals, and the Barlow will accept 1.25” eyepieces. A metal thumbscrew locks the eyepiece firmly in place.FEATURES:Double the magnification of each eyepiece you own with the Omni 2X Barlow Lens;Keep the eye relief of your eyepieces while getting 2X the power;Slides into 1.25” focusers and diagonals and accepts 1.25” eyepieces;Fully multi-coated optics with blackened edges for good light transmission and minimal reflections.
The Omegon 2x Barlow lens trebles the magnification when used together with an eyepiece. The 1.25" eyepiece is simply inserted into the Barlow lens and secured with the side locking screw. You then insert the complete assembly into the focuser. For example, if you normally get 20 x magnification with your eyepiece, this is then increased to 60 x with the Omegon Barlow lens. If you want to initially do without having to acquire a complete set of eyepieces, then this Barlow lens fits the bill.
