Diese Pumpe ist weltweit die erste Pumpe, die in serienmäßig produzierten wassergekühlten Workstations eingesetzt wird, und ist ideal für die Wasserkühlung von Prozessoren und elektronischen Bauteilen geeignet. Aufgrund ihrer Baugröße und Leistung kann die darüber hinaus in einer Vielzahl von Anwendungen eingesetzt werden. Diese DC-Pumpe ist eine elektronisch kommutierte Kugelmotorpumpe, mit Laufzeiten von deutlich über 50.000 Stunden bei 12 Volt. Das einzig bewegliche Teil an einer Kugelmotorpumpe ist eine sphärisch geformte Rotor-/Laufradeinheit, die sich auf einer ultraharten, verschleißfesten Keramik-Lagerkugel abstützt. Eine konventionelle Welle mit Wellenlagern und Wellendichtungen ist nicht vorhanden. Die sphärische Lagerung der Rotor-/Laufradeinheit auf der Keramik-Lagerkugel bietet eine Vielzahl von Vorteilen: Ein Entstehen von Lagerspiel - und damit eine Geräuschzunahme - ist prinzipbedingt nicht möglich. Depending on the case used, Multiframe® fans are able to reduce the fan-induced noise below the noise from the airflow itself. Multiframe® fans are than "more silent than the air". The new Multiframe® technology has a array of new features: The integrated vibration absorbers are just one of the new features that all contribute to noise reduction. For example the vibration absorbers are wider than the chassis to avoid any contact between case and vibrating parts. The use of massive and heavy materials in the fan leads to a lowering of the noise's frequencies, therefore making it less audible and more comfortable to the human ear. Aerodynamic optimization of frame and strutting also reduce noise by air swirling. The Z-Multi Water Tank from Bitspower has two screw-in POM covers, one with only one G1/4" thread and the other with three G1/4" threads. In the cover, where there is only one G1/4" thread, an adapter is already screwed in, which flows in three individual jets against the reservoir when it is used as an inlet. In the cover, with three threads, a flow pipe is installed in one of the threads, which is usually used as an inlet. If the inlet starts from the upper side, i.e. on the opposite side of the flow pipe, the outlet should not be through the flow pipe, as in the case of a water level below the pipe, air would otherwise enter the cooling circuit. Two plugs are included to close the openings that are not used. One plug is shiny silver, while the other is transparent and has a hole for an optional LED illumination.
